Baggins is the best!!. I have been dining at Baggins for almost a decade now! It is absolutely delicious. Everything is made fresh to order. The desserts and salads are also homemade, by Baggins. I have had everything on the menu! The Unforgettable sandwich is just that! Who doesn't love fresh turkey? Dont' forget to checkout the Sundown Baggins! Have a Thanksgiving kind of sandwich any day! Also on special days, Al, the owner makes a great posole, with a dash of Puerto Rican influence! My favorite! People order it by the bucket load. If you want cheap and unhealthy, go ahead and head to McD's, but once you try Baggin's you'll never want to skimp on quality again!

Baggins. Had the green chili chicken noodle soup the other day. Not sure which is better, the soup or their "Cro-Mag" sandwich...sooooo good!!! If you haven't tried this place yet, get off your ass!!!

Delicious In-house cooking. I have been going to Baggins for over 7 years. And those sandwiches just get stuck in my mind. I crave them! So many choices to choose from, and they have grilled sandwiches for those cold days and cold sandwiches for those hot days. Plus, all their soup and sides are made in-house. Not to mention the meats are made in-house too. If you like real Thanksgiving turkey, then this is the sandwich shop for you. Say good-bye to that deli-meat crap that a slicer just cuts up. The atmosphere is nice, the crew is always willing to give suggestions and you get a FREE homemade chocolate chip cookie with every sandwich (and salad too!) Their salads are also huge and come with a good amount of veggies. They are always coming up with new sandwiches too. But of course, if you are like me, don't judge a place purely on other people's reviews. Go in and try it for yourself! You might just find the Best Sandwiches in town (Did I mention they won Best of Burque for their sandwiches and soup? And got a wonderful right-up in ABQ the magazine?)

YUMmmmmmmm!. I've had a lot of sandwiches in my life, but I think I've found The One. Or even The Two.

If you haven't gone to Baggins on Lomas yet, you should go for lunch as soon as possible and get either the Unforgettable or the Cubano.

What a perfect balance of flavors -- sweet and smoky, rich and -- on fresh, crispy bread with a chewy, tender crust. It's honestly the single best sandwich I've ever had. I've been told their gobbler is just as good.

There's no "hype," just goodness. I don't care what people say, Baggins is more than an "average" sandwich shop. the service is phenomenal, the food is good (yes, a little pricey, but what isn't these days?), the ambiance casual and down-to-earth.

i keep going back for the Unforgettable and the Sundown; haven't tried a lot of their hot sandwiches but i hear good things from the friends who order them.

probably the hardest thing about this place is the hours, which are a little early. if you have a late-night sandwich craving in abq, you'll have to settle for something inferior.

keep up the great food, guys! and thanks for the cookies! (you'll always get one with your sandwich :) )

Who Is DonArumma?. I love Baggin's. I've been going there for at least 5 years now. They have some of the best, top quality sandwiches in town, hands down. They seem to be a small buisness that run a tight ship. I've asked them and they make all their soups, and sides in house, and also cook and slice all their deli meat. Really great stuff. Anytime of the day, it's filled with some of the best cooking smells. I don't understand why anyone(this guy don) would dislike this place. Everytime I've gone there I always leave happy and full. I recommend getting a Cro-Magnon or a Cubano. FROTO LIVES!!!

Sandwiches. Baggins is all about the sandwich. It is a no-frills kind of place with deli-style sandwiches that will keep you coming back for more. I like their potato salad too.

Great place to get delicious sandwiches for lunch. Build your own or make your choice from the twenty or so specialty sandwiches, either cold or hot. Don't be put off by the decor. Friendly staff, quick service, great flavor & texture - what's not to love?

Let me begin with, the menu prices online do not match the actual charge. When I asked about why my sandwich was 90 cents more than listed online, I was told "That hasn;t been updated in like 4 years". I then said "You may want to update that, it's a bit misleading.' He responded with " If I knew where he was" as he made popping noises with his mouth and walked away. This is the reason I did not give them 5 stars, customer service is very important to me.. On the other hand, the sandwich was very good and made with good quality ingredients. I recommend eating here but understand that it cost about $30 for 3 sandwiches and the services left something to be desired. Attached is a picture of "The Unforgettable" Lots of sprouts and very little bacon, that was a little disappointing.

Really good sandwiches. A little pricey for the quantity you get but can't complain because they taste great. Good size menu too with lots of different sandwich options. Funny, I read another review about the guy working there making "popping noises" with his mouth. He was doing that while I was there and it was pretty annoying haha but I won't fault him for it, it may just be a habit or something he doesn't even notice he's doing. He was nice, friendly and doing his job well so I won't complain. If you like Sandwiches, give Baggins a try.

The sandwiches have very fresh ingredients along with creative menu items. They feature classics, classic twists and their own signature creations. The staff are friendly. Expect to pay about $10 per person including drinks.

Some of the best sandwiches I've found in town. They have both unique options as well as some classics. The place is quiet and a great place to take a lunch break. The food comes out in a timely manner so you have time to eat it even if time is tight.

This place was amazing! Great food and great service! I was honestly impressed, it was the best B.L.T I've ever had and boyfriend (who is picky about flavor) loved his "Grinder" sandwich. Thank you guys! Keep up the great work, we'll be back soon!

This is a good place to have lunch either take out or dine in if you have some time. They have a good selection of sandwiches and the soup of the day is something to be savored. The variety of choices are from traditional up through local favorites and are made fresh as you order. The portions are a good amount when compared to the price and are very consistant in quality. I would make it a point to try this place and Im sure that you will not be disappointed with the visit.

I have been a patron since 1994, everthing on the menu is taste buds tantalizing. Dog friendly patio for your fur babies to come along. Price = quality of ingredients, better than any sandwich shop in town!!!

By far my favorite sandwich place in town. They always get my order right and it's always amazing. They use fresh ingredients and the cookie is an added bonus. The staff is very friendly.

One of the best sandwich shops in Albuquerque. A great variety of savory options. Simple. Unpretentious. Reasonably priced. Always good. Simple seating area or take out.
