New Mexico's own ubiquitous Lotaburger offers competent burgers a couple steps up from regular fast-food chains. (And a step or two slower, but worth it.) Long-time residents miss the days when your takeout bag doubled as your order form.
Good, moderately spicy green chile is a must on your burger - Lota for big appetites, Itsa for small. Get seasoned fries on the side. The breakfast burritos are big and delicious. In November, even if you're sick of pumpkin spice, try a Pumpkin Pie Shake - a vanilla shake blended with a slice of pumpkin pie. Awesome.
Good breakfast burritos. I like the #1 with bacon and green chilli. With a small coffee it's under $5.
I ordered a #7 and the food was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and the environment was very much inviting.
I stopped by the Blake's early in the evening. Called in an order. Friendly service great food! You can't go wrong period. Food cooked to perfection! The staff were are friendly and very nice. No one was rude. Everyone was smiling and busy. I recommend this place. Clean and welcoming the way it should be too. I sat and enjoyed my food in comfort. Thanked the staff for a job well done. They all appreciated the compliments given them. 10+

It's no longer ..Blake's.. its now called Barbacoa and this place is awesome. You got a hangover get their stew OMG. Hangover? What Hangover ! I ordered the 1/2 lbs taco and 32 Oz of the stew, cost $17 it was worth every penny. Great customer service.
I love it when a franchise has good satellites, and this is a good one. Patties were crispy on the outside and a little pink in the middle. Bacon was nice and crisp. LOVE Blake's seasoned fries and these were cooked to perfection.

I don't usually review fast food places, however since Blake's is our home town bugers place I thought I should let people know that they don't just have awesome green chili cheese burgers. They also make a breakfast burrito that can't be beat. If you have a lite appetite bring a friend because serving size is pretty darn big.
I frequent my local Blake's weekly. They are a Albuquerque fixture. The "fast food" is very very good. The breakfast burritos are top notch. In ABQ you really cant go wrong stopping in at Blake's. I would rate 5 stars, i just wish the prices were lower in general. A bit pricey, but worth a visit.
The burritos are the best especially if you smother them with red or green I like the red chili though. They stop selling them at 11 am
But there's this Blake's in Montgomery breakfast all day I recommend number 5, bacon, smothered, red it's delicious
The food is great, however the employees spend too much time talking to each other and not enough time making sure the orders go out correctly. Three times in a row, ordered an Itsa Burger with no onions and three times there are onions. Perhaps it would help if the kitchen printer ribbon printer was replaced and cleaned so it was more clear that the ticket says NO ONIONS in red letters.
Nathans hot dog was great. My lotaburger was good, but the burger patty was dry. French fries were excellent. Doesn't offer a senior discount on drinks.
If you ever find yourself jonesing for a great tasting burger, than you should definitely stop by Blake's. The LOTA Burgers my go to, and it really doesn't disappoint. The patties, the bacon, and the buns, all taste amazing! They also have great shakes and seasoned fries. Combine all of that, and you've got a great tasting meal for a great price!
