I LOVE this place!!!! Great entertainment for a donation. I got to sing there twice for open mike. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Thanks solid Grounds for offering a terrific place to spend your Saturday night. Thank you to all the volunteers as well you make GREAT hot chocolate and tasty snacks♥

Very comfortable nice place to Relax. My FRIENDS and I really ENJOYED TRACY WHITNEY and her JAZZ group it was GREAT. The Talk from Rev. JESSE was a comforting message. The Women at the Coffee ☕ and Tea Bar was so nice Ladies. I tipped them for their good service. 👍 Hope to come back for another Concert.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Solid Grounds Coffee House is an outreach ministry of St. Steven's Methodist Church. Every Saturday night the doors open at 6:30 and the band starts at 7pm and plays 2 sets ending at 9pm...encores highly discouraged. There is a different band each week, a few are local, but artists drop in from all over with the Austin music scene being especially well represented.
When there are 5 Saturdays in a month, one will be an open-mic night.
This venue operates on a donation basis, so bring some cash to drop in the box.
While good live music is the point, it is still a church. Few of the bands have a religious focus, but they will be sure to feature a Jesus tune if they have one. You can expect a 10 minute or so overtly religious message before the second set.
The location is the lower level (basement with outside access) on the north side of the building.
Excellent gathering space with a new sound system and good sound people.
Usually have good talent. Free snacks and beverages. Please donate.
Solid Grounds is an Albuqurque treasure for those of any faith or no faith. It is a cozy and comfortable place to hang out and listen to music. It is also absolutely free, although donations are encouraged.
