The food was good, staff and service were good, we ate dinner and had generous portions so we got to take home plenty of food that will be enjoyed for other meals. We had three primary dishes with the "house" friend rice, full of delicious meat and vegetables.
Great food but service sometimes varies. The food is very good here. Grew up eating homemade Chinese food, so while there is no substitute, this place is close. Servings are very generous and they have pretty good lunch specials as well. Give yourself patience and time when you come because depending on who is working, it could be quick and efficient or frantic and slow.
Value and Taste. I went to Yummi House twice last week. Lunch menu is, well, just a lunch menu. I think this is a good idea, better not to offer to stuff your patrons mid-day. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken for lunch and was very happy with the food, presentation and service. I really wanted General Tso's Chicken but it is not available at lunch time. I did return a couple of days later with my wife and son and ordered General Tso's Chicken. I couldn't finish it.... it was very flavorful and the quantities were large. Might consider ordering a couple of appetizers and the General's chicken for two adults. Should be plenty.
I will definitely go back.
Don't go for the ambiance. It is clean and the servers were attentive and friendly. For eateries of this type I give it a 5 Star rating.
Ok so the typical dishes and lunch specials are your run of the mill get it anywhere Chinese. However, we first went with a Chinese friend and we really enjoy the dishes he ordered. The oyster beef, shrimp with sizzling rice, and Mu Shu pork are really good. Also the eggplant is tasty :) they have really good kimchi too.
Ja ja men sold here!!!. If youre craving jajamen or champon, yummi house is the place to go. i will be back to try other items on the secret yellow menu.
Yummi, for sure!. We eat here at least once a week. Clean and delicious food served with a smile.
Kimche Fried Rice Here!. I am half Korean and love kimche made with fried rice like my Mom made it when I was a kid. The chef here is Chinese but spent some time or grew up in S. Korea, so he can make the best kimche. I think they need to put it on the menu, though, because I have to request it special, and I have turned a lot of people on to this meal. I have also tried their Chinese dishes which are wonderful, especially the pot stickers!
My favorite Chinese food. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Love whatever I've tried so far. The jumbo soup, potstickers, jaja ming. I'm sure the names are all spelt wrong. But they know exactly what I mean.
Incredibly fresh, Chinese home cookin. Best pot stickers in town, totally hand made. Great people. Don't miss the Kung Pao Shrimp!
Yummi is yummy!. Yummi House's Sizzling Rice soup is out of this world. The waiter brings a large bowl of light stock filled with chicken, shrimp, a variety of greens, and more. On presentation, he adds just-fried rice kernels that sizzle when they hit the broth.
The dishes are nicely sauced and meats and vegetables are fresh and tender. Owner Carol tells me that ingredients are shopped daily and it shows. The Mongolian beef, and Ma-Po Dofu are two of my favorite dishes.
Everything is great except for the strong smell of the nail shop chemicals next door. Sometimes, it would interfere with the taste of your food. It's not a good combo.
Read the previous reviews, some not so good but still decided to try it myself and family. It was empty when we got there. Around 730pm. We ordered orange chiken, garlic beef and mongolian beef..
It was a very nice amount of food and very tasteful . All the plates look and tasted the way they should (i been hanging out with a Taiwanese friend)
Would definitely recommend the place and ill be back when i travel to Albuquerque.

My absolute favorite place for Chinese food!! The taste of the food is top notch, well made. Nothing special on the atmosphere or service. But the quality of the food is awesome and the portions are very generous.
I was very glad to have found this place. Great Lunch Specials. [See Photo]. Wife is very happy with the Hot and Sour Soup, so thank you Yummi House. Serves huge bowls of Dim Sum Soup. Truck parking in this Area Pretty tight, but just up street if you don't mind a short walk is a large empty area next to Car Wash.
This place is the best in Albuquerque for Chinese food. People giving poor reviews are crybabies who don't know authentic great Chinese food. I come here often with my girl and it's awesome. The Beef Lo Mein and the sweet and sour chicken or shrimp are the best things. The egg drop soup is delicious with some pepper and the chicken skewers are so juicy.

I have no idea why people would complain about the price. The prices are very reasonable. You get your choice of soup, 2 cheese wontons, chicken on a stick, rice, and the meal of your choosing for only $8! Food is excellent and reliable. Excellent and expedient service too.
This is our favorite Chinese place! We have never had a bad dish. The orange chicken is delicious. The shrimp fried rice is my daughter's favorite. I love the tofu dish. Once you try this place you won't go anywhere else.

Honestly I really enjoy this amazing food in my opinion. One of my favorite plates is the lo mein chicken and beef brocolli very fresh vegetable that are still have a slight crunch the way I just like it. They have a really good lunch specials it comes around 11.50 love it
