We were staying in the Hotel L'Orologio, great hotel, but this bar made our trip. In Venice people don't sit at tables, you stand outside (no matter the weather) and chat. Chilled music, if you're lucky as we were, a live band. Bar service was great and prices a third of the hotel.

A great place to come and relax in the nearby courtyard, listen to some of the modern-day music they play, and enjoy some very reasonably priced wine - about 2-4 euro per glass, most are 3/3.50... But be warned, the waiter we had the second day me and my friends went there KEPT trying to overcharge us on separate orders, saying that either the prices had "gone up" (since yesterday evening) even though their board shows the price we had yesterday, or that he didn't know what I was talking about and he'd check on it (but then avoided all contact with us thereafter). This IS is a good venue, and the waitress we had on the first day was great! Excellent service and correct prices... However, unless you can argue rather well in Italian to correct you bill if they chose to overcharge you, I'd say just go look for an honest venue elsewhere.

Perfect spot to sit outside and sample the regional wines away from the tourist invasion and tourist pricing. Excellent, friendly staff helps too. The fresh produce market around the corner and the incredible Parmesan cheese shop next door make this the perfect place to spend an afternoon in Venice.

Abends tobt hier das Leben! Unser Lieblingsplatz war die Wein-Bar Muro Venezia Rialto. Sie ist gar nicht zu verfehlen, schon von weitem sieht man die Crowd auf der Piazza rund um die Bar. Hier geht es rund bis spät in die Nacht.

We where there for the end of the carnevale and its so much fun, there was plenty of people, a DJ out in the campo, highly recommend it!

I greatly recommend this restaurant, nice staff, very good quality of service, incredible baked croissants, especially the one with fish.
