If you are Nigerian in Rome looking to eat a proper Nigerian food, this place is for you. I had vegetable soup and pounded yam, jellof rice and plantain, the food was great and quite affordable too.

Visited whilst in Rome and in search of Nigerian food. The place is beautifully decorated, about two minutes walk from Cavour Station. The food was okayish... I've tasted better. I had egusi soup with pounded yam (which was served cold initially until I asked the waitress to heat it up). There's a decent bar attached and the staff are friendly. This should be a 5-star review but for the partly cold food.

Da tempo cercavo un posto dove poter assaggiare il jollof rice e la pepper soup nigeriana e finalmente l'ho trovato.Il locale è piccolino, ma ben curato e pulito, a due passi dal centro, quindi dopo mangiato è possibile fare una bella passeggiata tra la storia di Roma. I piatti sono abbondanti e ben cucinati. Il proprietario è gentile e sempre sorridente. Tutte cose che ti invogliano a tornare. Lo consiglio vivamente per una cena diversa dal solito.

Scoperto durante una passeggiata, al centro di Roma, in via Cavour, vicino il Colosseo e via dei Serpenti.
Sembra di entrare in un pezzo di Africa, arredamento con quadri in legno caratteristici africani o di personaggi del posto, il personale credo nigeriano, gentilissimo in un ambiente sobrio, pulito, elegante.
Io per curiosità ho assaggiato le banane fritte, un sapore nuovo, molto gustoso da mangiare però appena fatte, calde.
Accanto c'è anche il lato lounge bar, la prossima volta che torno ci passo.

My partner and I came by since we had visited the bar the previous night and let me tell you this was the best food I had in Rome!
The scampi was delicious, the fillet was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a yummy sauce.
We cleaned both plates 😂
