Desideri un posto immerso nelle campagne lucchesi, pace, relax e viste collinari a perdita d’occhio? Desideri una location elegante, ben curata e ben arredata a due passi da Lucca ma fuori dalla città e all’inizio della Garfagnana? Villa Volpi, Suite Accomodation e Castello di Mammoli fanno parte di un unico complesso ricettivo dove trascorrere qualche giorno in pace e senza grosse pretese. È vero che la location è da 4 stelle e il servizio non è da 4 stelle, ma noi abbiamo comunque trovato personale estremamente gentile, disponibile e accogliente. Lo potrei definire un servizio non professionale ma umano e a seconda di quello che cerchi, questa soluzione a volte la preferisco! La cucina e la colazione hanno ampi margini di miglioramento e’ vero, ma ci hanno accolti anche nei loro fuori orari e ci hanno sempre sfamato. Il posto è favoloso, ma solo se stai a Villa Volpi hai a disposizione bar, cucina ristorante e colazione, il resto delle strutture è autonomo nei dintorni e va presa la macchina x raggiungere la struttura principale. Animali ben accetti e anche questo per me è un valore aggiunto. Insomma un posto da 4 stelle dove ti senti un po’ a casa per persone che non hanno grosse pretese di trattamenti lussuosi e raffinati.

Posizione con paesaggi mozzafiato, struttura caratteristica e ben curata. Peccato il servizio al di sotto delle aspettative rispetto la struttura, con costo camera troppo alto. Colazione inesistente (come proposta unica croissant a costo di 2€ e un bicchierino di succo d'arancia di cartone a modesto prezzo di 4€ e tutto ciò con un attesa ⏳ di ben 45 min) si può giudicare un hotel a zero stelle per il servizio che offre e un hotel per la bellezza e il posto da 5 stelle, sono rimasta molto delusa dal servizio, e per finire per pagare il nostro soggiorno abbiamo dovuto attendere mezz'ora perché non c'era nessuno alla reception e le 2 persone del personale presenti non potevano farci pagare.... e roba da non credere e da prendere in considerazione solo perché è un posto incredibilmente bello ma peccato che il servizio è meno dello zero....

Bellissima villa storica, su una collina con una vista magnifica. Camere spaziose e silenziose. Staff molto gentile. Ideale per rilassarsi e poco distante da Lucca. Prezzo della camera con prima colazione veramente ragionevole.

Abbiamo dormito due notti posto meraviglioso, pace e rilassamento totale. Bella vista e cena ottima.

Eccellente esperienza.. luogo incantevole e personale gentilissimo.. Da provare assolutamente!!

From start to finish we loved every moment. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, both our girls aged 11/15 had no complaints at all about the villa. We would usually expect to hear ‘I am bored dad/mum’ not a word from them :). The food was lovely, it’s simple and just great. We loved the pasta and meat/vegetarian dishes on offer as well as the deserts. The pool, it was clean, had lots of seating, amazing views and it wasn’t too busy which is what we liked the most. There were guests around but they were all really friendly and nice, talkative and just overall good :) Marco who owns the place, great chap, very helpful, his staff also really nice and helpful. I can’t stress enough how relaxing it is to be here. You really do unplug here, you recharge the batteries :) Food wise Breakfast is 0830 - 0930 or later if you want :) Lunch 1300 - 1400 - lite selections or pasta if the kids want that, what kid doesn’t want pasta ? :). There are options the staff can offer. My kids are fussy eaters, no issue here :). Dinner 2030 - 2230 - pasta dishes, with or without meat, deserts, ice creams etc. All fresh made and simply delicious! Drinks wise, you have a bar here, usual spirits, Prosecco, champagne, wines, soft drinks you name it! :) Rooms wise, we had a lovely spacious set of 2 rooms on the ground floor. We had our own terrace, our own back access to the shared pool. The rooms are clean, and very spacious. Now this is a Villa Hotel, so it’s not a full on hotel with speedy service. Marco and his staff will do their best to assist you. This is actually much better than the hotel service feel you would typically get as it’s much more personal and just overall better ! :) Travel wise, you can order a taxi, it takes about 20 mins to arrive at the villa from Lucca. I would recommend you hire a car if possible, otherwise you can just go to Lucca, and or travel to Pisa by local train from Lucca station. Trains are cheap as they are part subsidised I was told. But overall I would highly recommend this as a place to relax, get your batteries recharged. We will definitely be considering coming back !

To miejsce to kwintesencja Toskanii! Piękne pokoje, pyszne jedzenie i cudowni ludzie. Marco jest najbardziej pracowita osobą jaką poznałam, a mimo to zawsze znalazł chwilę, by porozmawiać i pobawić się z moim synkiem. To miejsce z duszą, w którym zostawia się serce.

We stayed at Castello di Mammoli, which is a part of the Hotel Villa Volpi. Note: If staying at the Castello, you will check in at the Hotel first! This can be confusing if you are following your phone's GPS directions. Marco checked us in and brought us to our room, which was much appreciated as it was quite late in the night and dark. I highly recommend dining and enjoying the wine at the Hotel--quite reasonably priced considering the awe inducing nature of the surroundings. It is such a beautiful area and they have treated the property and it's history with great care. Enjoy your stay, we should have added another night! It was a perfect addition to our honeymoon. Have never had a better experience and have never seen a more beautiful surrounding. Firstly, it is the owner and the staff that made us feel so welcome and so special. They were fine with our last minute cancellation (at mindight , due to transport problems !) And fine with us rescheduling. They were really kind and allowed a later check out at no cost. Also they were very informative and heed find a great restaurant I'm the nearby village. The views are phenomenal and would go back again tomorrow !!!

Breathtaking view great to be here with couple, wife or husband for a romantic weekend. The rooms are quite simple but ample space. There is a gorgeous two story house suite on top of the hill which is great for honey mooners!
