Great Mexican restaurant! Food was fresh and delicious! Place has indoor and outdoor seating. Good atmosphere inside. People are nice and friendly. Portions are big. Give it a try and you will love this place!
Great place for Breakfast. On my recent visit, I tried the steak egg and cheese breakfast sandwich special. It was really tasty. The steak was of a good cut and well prepped. The bread was also good. But may get a little soggy if you ordered this to go. The Sandwich came with a side of potatoes and a sliced orange.
I haven't tried their lunch and dinner options yet, but am looking forward to soon.
Good meal, entrée had good taste.(not spice or seasoned enough for my taste) the table standard salsa was delicious as well as the guacamole. My wife was a fan of the Sangria.. Dinner for 2 with one drink and guacamole $50
Dos Amigos delivers consistently on what East Coasters have come to expect from their Tex Mexican cuisine. This must be stated because the Californian or person coming from the southwest may have a differing opinion.
I have had the tacos al carbon and the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. I have purchased for pick up and had it delivered via Door Dash and have not been disappointed. The steak and chicken are moist and tender as if you were eating in. The tortillas were fresh and the guac, sour cream, rice, beans, and salsa all tasted as if they were freshly made and packaged well in neat separate containers on a separate platter as not to turn over...extra point for Dos Amigos on this consideration.
I have had their delicious horchata but still need to sample their desserts. But, I look forward to dining in. During last pick up visit, I saw customers enjoying themselves and the staff were hospitable and friendly 😀
Very solid local spot for Mexican.
Pros: Excellent service, excellent carnitas fajitas, excellent tortilla soup, excellent green salsa hot sauce.
Cons: it’s on the expensive side for this quality Mexican food (i could have whipped up these $13 enchiladas in a half hour in my kitchen), and the tortillas chips were very mediocre.
Food and drinks were very good. Service was amazing. Kathy was one of the nicest servers I have had in years. Made the whole experience so much better. This is definitely my new place to go. They have breakfast as well and a coffee bar as well. ( Will be back to try it out). Mt new favorite tex-mex around hands down!
Food was really good. I got the chicken fajitas. For the first time ever I didn't use all three tortillas. Normally I always have to ask for more. Lol Next time I will ask for extra chicken. I also got a margarita regular size. The bill wasn't much at all. $45 plus $10 tip.
Very delicious food! Beautiful patio with ample outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and the coconut margarita is my new go to drink!!
Came in on a Saturday evening, there was no wait and we were seated immediately. The food is alright, we ordered 2 different combination platters. The drinks were nice, but not amazing. The service was mediocre. Overall I'd choose a different tex-mex restaurant if I had the choice.
For dinner tonight my wife decided to try something new, Pollo Dos Amigos: grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed zucchini, squash, peppers, onions, celery and white wine cream sauce. In her words, "Not only great looking food but great tasting." I went with my usual, BBQ Chorizo Fajitas. It never disappoints. Great food and great service keeps us coming back.
