Always nice to visit and take in the building. It’s usually a bit touristy but during the pandemic it’s quite empty. There are a bunch of great vendors in the hall that pack a lot of the best of SF into one place. Amazing empanadas; there is a dandelion chocolate, as well as Acme Bakery and ice cream. Grab breakfast and munch on it outside looking out at the bay.
Easily one of my favorite stops for a quick meal in the city. There are various counter eateries inside offering a variety of quick service dining options—and I have yet to be disappointed by any of their meals.
Out the back of Ferry Building are a number of benches overlooking the bay, providing a perfect spot to grab a bite or just enjoy the views.
In addition to the food offerings, there are also a number of high end specialty small shops that very much are on the pricier side, but have unique gift offerings nonetheless.
The Ferry Building also has an outdoor farmers market three times a week, that cannot be missed. Highly recommend their food trucks and sampling the different pretzels with dip!
The ferry building is right on the bay, its beautiful!!! Me and my boyfriend were on a video chat at the time so I could show him the Ferry Building, the San Francisco bay, the view of the San Francisco skyline of the financial district during the evening. It was gorgeous
One of my favorite places to walk on a nice day from home, it has everything from soft serve ice cream, to wine/beer to go that you can walk around with while looking at all the boutique stores. Great bookstore, delicious empanada place and plenty more, also has a fun farmers market weekly
Drink some white wine, and eat some oysters, enjoy the ocean, island and bridge view, you also can take the boat to the Oakland or treasure island, buy some wine, chocolate, cake and some bread back home.
This is Pier 1 I believe that is the most beautiful place.. if you ever decided to come to San Francisco. I recommend you to come here at least one time to check it out. City by the Bay.. love it. I live here grew up here. So I know.. ( ^__~)
Great place. Unfortunately a lot of stores inside are closed but there's some awesome shops still inside and the markets outside on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are fantastic.
Loved this place and all the little gourmet markets inside! Definitely a thing you must visit while in Downtown San Francisco
I got down at Embarcadero station from BART and walked my way there. I loved the energy of the area, the weather was lovely and I got to take some cool pictures while at the building.
What I loved the most was the open areas around it. Most people would go, pick up some lunch and sit on one of the benches in the pier and enjoy a day out. Even with Covid-19 and everything, this area is still enjoyable, you have the nice landscape and the space to stay far enough away from other people.
The city is very small, don't miss out the chance to explore it 😉
