Merchants The Bar At The Hilton St. Louis Downtown Saint Louis

Staff is very friendly. We have always felt like we were well taken care of. The bar and bartender are top notch, with unique signature cocktails. The atmosphere of the hotel from the entry to the room is amazing. The rooms are not cookie cutter with high ceilings and character. Stayed twice so far and plan on staying again.

I recently stayed at the Pennywell Hilton hotel in St. Louis, and overall, it was a pleasant experience that deserves a solid rating. The lobby is quaint and charming. I loved the old bank vault in the lobby that was turned into the food shop! There is great food options in the hotel as well! First and foremost, the hotel's location is fantastic. Situated in the heart of St. Louis, it provided easy access to popular attractions like the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, and the Dome. This made exploring the city a breeze. The hotel's staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Their hospitality added a welcoming touch to the stay especially since they had a busy weekend! The rooms at Pennywell Hilton were comfortable and the amenities provided were adequate. However, a bit more attention to detail in terms of room cleanliness would have been appreciated to elevate the experience. The linen shower curtain had some black spots / mold along the bottom of it and the shower head leaked. Noise from the streets came through since there was not much sound proofing. In conclusion, Pennywell Hilton in St. Louis is a comfortable and well-located hotel that offers a pleasant stay.
