Awesome place with great view of the canal. Serves halal food. The portion size was very good and the food tasted superb. Each of the dishes we ordered had unique taste and the spice level was exactly as described by the staff. Will definitely visit again to try more dishes. Recommended.
This may just be one of the best restaurants in all of Rochester. Not only is the atmosphere amazing (can't wait to be out on the patio during the summer). But Krystal was an amazing server, and the chef (owner) may be the one of the best aswell. We gave him a list of likes/dislikes and he put together a other masterpiece. Those pork chops were incredible, just wow. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to everyone. Thank you Mythology.

The calamari has an amazing garlic white wine sauce with yummy Greek olives. The saganaki “flaming cheese” is the best I’ve ever had. The owner was kind and informative. He took the time to stop and say hello: we will definitely be back!
Enjoyed a wonderful meal and service last night with 5 friends at Kainos. Our waiter, Shea, said he had only worked there a few days, but he was personable and had great service skills. A very friendly and informative server. The food - DELICIOUS. All 6 of us had great meals. Presentation great, I've included photos. I can highly recommend Kainos, a wonderful surprise, and well worth a visit.
Italian Restaurant with Pitas. I went for the scenery. Enjoyed my meal. The most impressive thing about the place besides the patio on the Genessee River, is how they care for people.
I went to the restroom before I left and was absolutely surprisingly shocked. The restroom had toiletries for women, lotions, and something else that I have decided not to share for the safety of the women dining in the establishment. Ladies you are safe here.
My meal, I had the mussels and a Greek salad. I don’t finish the salad because the vinegar in the dressing was overpowering.
Mussels were citrusy with chopped fresh oranges. They were good. Grabbed a local beer and left.
This place definitely exceeded expectations, was not sure what to think due to some bad reviews but after my experience I can now say they are completely false. The food was absolutely phenomenal from the flaming cheese to the Greek platter to the breathtaking baklava. The view was beautiful as well! The manager and waiter both were very welcoming and responsive. This place is a GEM 💎

OUTSTANDING FOOD AND SERVICE!!!!! For our 10 year Anniversary we decided to give Kaino's a try. We had heard good things from friends and we love greek food and so we went. We were not disappointed. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted by a smiling hostess. The bar area was hopping as we walked by to our table. What a view we had. This place has to be incredible in the summer time when you can dine on the patio. Our waiter was Jerel ,a 5 star waiter hands down. We seriously had the best service. He gave us great recommendations and we went for the Calamari. Presentation off the chart gorgeous. All the dishes we ordered were super tasty and plentiful. Biggest Moussaka piece I have ever received in a restaurant. We loved everything! At the end of the night we were surprised by a platter of desserts. We were in shock. We had asked Jerel in the beginning to take our picture since it was our Anniversary and he had some fun with us.We didn't expect this.The whole staff wished us a happy anniversary.❤ We can't say enough good things about this restaurant. It's location is so nice by the water. The atmosphere inside is great as well. We will definitely be back and will spread the news how great this place is!
The food and view are beautiful! The food is rich and fresh. The menu is both traditional and modern. I could eat the Spanakopita for every meal for the rest of my life and I'd be satisfied every time, but there's always something new to try as well!
I love sitting by the water and having delicious drinks and food brought to me while I journal and ease drop on strangers and listen to the birds sing. 😍Giant block of Feta on top the salad. Its a chicken Saladt, ya better come get you one of theeeessseee.
How I spent my birthday. This is one of my favorite restaurants now. Not only is the food phenomenal the staff is too. I felt so comfortable there. I had a drink at the bar then went to eat in the igloo which was an amazing experience.
