Fantastic vibe here, and excellent breakfasts. My favorite place on Fremont.
Amazing food! Bicycling around the area I saw this place and decided to try it and found the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!!! Great food made with real effort for a wonderful food experience.
AWESOME family friendly restaurant! We brought our 3 young kids here and the entire staff was so nice. They brought the kids food out first which was really helpful for my hungry little monsters! I got the gluten free biscuits and gravy and smashed the entire, delicious plate.
I really enjoyed my breakfast at Eclectic. Not many places offer a paleo friendly meal, but this place made it great. I was also surprised we were able to get seated without a wait when other places in the neighborhood had lines of the door. I like the self service coffee which lets me drink coffee at my own pace. The server was friendly and on top of her game.
Delicious food and great service :) we got the California eggs Benedict and the veggies omlet and both were great!
My food has always been tasty and perfect. The staff are friendly and it's a down to earth place with well cooked food that has great ingredients.
A true gem of a brunch spot!!!
A quirky and welcoming atmosphere, with consistently friendly and helpful waitstaff. The food is always great quality. You may wait a little bit for your food to come out, but when it arrives at the table it is perfectly-seasoned, flavorful, and clearly cooked with care and attention. I love the variety on the menu and they cater to all of my dietary needs (the gluten-free biscuits are fantastic!).
Pro-tip: check the specials board.... they’re always serving up unique fantastic specials!!
I had a fantastic salad for lunch with my work buddies. The roots and shoots was very tasty and super healthy.
Great coffee, friendly wait staff. The eggs Benedict was fantastic. Nice view of the road, very clean and not overly crowded. Cozy inside with spacious seating and rustic styling kind of like grandma's house back in Ohio. The waitress used the phrases, "what can I do ya for" and "word" which immediately took me back to my childhood. Hells yeah Portland
This place is great. In a town full of overpriced brunch spots that always have a line, this place is a breath of fresh air. With a menu that utilizes well sourced ingredients, daily specials with seasonal ingredients, extra friendly staff and great coffee, Eclectic Kitchen is all that one could ask for. I have been coming here since 2011 and the food has been consistent and delicious. The prices are a good value, the portions are perfect and you will rarely have a wait for a table (weekends can get slammed, but duh) Support small, locally owned business. Gluten free biscuits are really good, but the gluten full are even better. The Paleo Bowl is the perfect breakfast. Love, love, love this spot.
Small, cozy restaurant on Fremont. Breakfast served ALL DAY. Tasty, fresh, wholesome, affordable food. Self serve brewed coffee and tea. Free refills. Energetic, friendly service. Nice people. I had the Southwest bowl with added pulled pork and biscuit. My wife had the veggie scramble with sausage and biscuit. We enjoyed our meals and the service/atmosphere. 5 stars if the original brewed tea was hot and if they weren't out of grits and black beans. This is our new "go to" place.
The self serve coffee area is wonderful, and I love that there's also a couple different teas to choose from. Overall it's a nice little breakfast place, great fare like the paleo bowl and the cheesy grits. Service is a little bit slow sometimes, but everybody seems genuinely happy to be there and has a great attitude.
By far my favorite place for a sit-down breakfast.
