Everything was amazing!! Extremely rare that a vegetable side is my favorite dish, but I can’t stop thinking about how well-balanced and textured the broccoli was. Our server was great and was very patient with us, as we had a 1 yr old. Been wanting to try this place for a while and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Made reservations weeks in advance to come eat at this fabulous establishment! The lady behind the bar, Tanzy(sp?), was fabulous. She made great recommendations for food and fabulous drinks. There were 3 of us, and we shared everything. We grabbed some apps and 1 of each of the main dishes. It was more than enough food to share for the 3 of us. I can't find my picture of the carbonara or the tuna, so we had everything pictured plus 2 more items. We also had to get double on the focaccia bread. That was warm and amazing. This place was as advertised! Definitely male reservations before you go. Even grabbed a couple items to go, as a friend we had was unable to join us! Chef Patrick was nailing it from the 3 point line with this menu, from a fellow Blazer fan to another. Well done!
Absolutely divine! Came here on a whim since they had reservations available last minute - so glad we did. The servers provided the best service and gave us great recommendations. We loved everything we ordered, the food melted in your mouth. Even though the portions were on the smaller side, they were surprisingly so filling! The restaurant is small and intimate, has a cozy and romantic ambience. On the more expensive side but worth it for quality of food and level of service. Will be back!
Enjoyed wine and dinner. Tried the 3 red wines (Loire, French Gamay Noir, OR Gamay Noir) and enjoyed the option for 1/2 glasses of wine. The beet salad was fantastic, so much flavor. The brussel sprouts were also good. The trout was fabulous, and the pork chop was moist and delicious. We sat at the bar. Atmosphere and service were great. Will be back!

Still perfect. We tried different menus this time and yet were surprised again. Even donuts were just came out of the oil and awesome.

None of servers was in tux, yet the service was top-notch--Used plates were replaced, bread crumbs were cleared.
We had a truffle-stuffed triangoli and a squid pasta. We've seen restaurants used truffle salt or truffle oil for the flavor, but this place uses actual minced-truffle. What a nice surprise. The squid pasta was just amazing. I almost used an f word in my first bite. Pasta itself was awesome too, but the base soup of the squid pasta was better than famous cioppino from Sotto Mare in SF. Overall, the pastas was comparable or better than Rosmarino.
As for the dessert, chocolate mousse was great, but the cannoli sundae outshined. Another wow ice cream since Bos Taurus in Bend.
Will definitely revisit and try all items in the menu.
Dame is my favorite restaurant currently in Portland. Excellent food. Well-prepared cocktails. Lively, romantic atmosphere. My only issue is they sometimes play music a little bit loud.
Dame is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Portland, and they have a great setup for outdoor dining, which I appreciate because I love to be able to bring my sweet dog along to dinner. Truly the prettiest and tastiest Italian food in town. While his meatballs are pretty much the best in town, it’s the salads and vegetable starters/sides that I crave the most.
Delicious, high quality, super-fresh and seasonal food in a stylish yet unpretentious setting. The outdoor seating is very atmospheric and though we only went inside for the restroom, I was very grateful for their COVID precautions keeping guests and staff as safe as possible. The service was warm and thoughtful, the wine list delightful, and the prices very reasonable for the quality. A lovely spot to spend a summer evening!

We stopped because we were picking up our in-laws from the airport, and I wanted to have a good meal if I was coming all the way from Eugene.
What I didn't expect was to have one of the best meals of my life! The atmosphere was lovely, though the music was a little loud. Our server was nice and knowledgeable of the menu, and the food was out of this world phenomenal.
Everything we got was treated simply and with love. The warm olives were soft and fruity, the Focaccia had a beautiful crust with a delightful soft spongy crumb, the sprouted broccoli had a bold char flavor, and the squid ink pasta was the best pasta I have ever had. The pasta had a wonderful chew, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the broth was a deft balance of unctuous fat, slight heat from the Calabrian chiles, and well-rounded tomato flavor.
For dessert we had the ricotta doughnuts which were tender, peppery, and served with a bright lemon curd. I would gladly go here time an time again.
It far exceeded my expectations for a good meal after terrible Portland traffic, and made navigating the insane Thanksgiving traffic more than worth it! If you have a chance to go here DO IT!

Wow y’all Dame is divine. The wine selection is off the charts. The food from Estes, arguably the best Italian cuisine in Portland. No Saint Pizza is always slaying the game. They have made this such a safe space during Covid with their staff fully vaccinated and checking vax cards to sit inside. But if you’re not comfortable being inside yet or don’t want to share your health info, no problem!! There are so many nice, cute seating options outside! How excellent to have options! The staff is cute, knowledgeable and very sweet. I can’t rave about their customer service enough, they’re simply the best. Oh and don’t sleep on the hot fresh doughnuts from Estes…you’re gonna want some.
