We have been wanting to go here. It did not disappoint. I had the all American, and it was delicious. I am a huge fan of tempeh bacon and it was awesome. We also had the blue bbq fries, and they were also delicious. I had the caramel peanut shake, yumm!
Can't wait to come back.

Next Level Burger is a plant-based paradise! Was warmly welcomed by the staff and walked through the menu. It is a fun / bright welcoming vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. The diverse menu, especially the variety of sandwiches, left me spoiled for choice. After going back and forth on the many different burger options, I landed on the Beyond Fire Burger. It was a flavor explosion, and the fact that it's made with organic ingredients was a bonus. The sweet potato fries were the perfect crunchy side, and the organic vanilla milkshake was a wonderful sweet treat.
This is just the perfect place, especially for families or groups that just want a good burger and fries (or chickie sammy).. I had the American cheeseburger (smash burger), fries, and a mint chocolate chip shake.. and I had just the best time sitting down and eating everything.. and the people were so friendly and helpful.. even when I wandered off and forgot to pay (I was dazzled by the vegan shakes in your choice of soy or coconut based). This will absolutely become a staple for my family.
Great well lit indoor restaurant with optional outdoor seating. 2 clean code access restrooms. Wonderful burgers with various options and additions galore. Love the sweet potato fries. Will definitely return!
I ate here way back in 2015 or so. My sisters and I made the trip to Portland for the food in large part, as we’re vegans but live in Alberta Canada where there are little to no vegan restaurants. And let me tell you, this was by far the best place we ate at. I think about it still all the time! The burgers were good, but what stood out to me was their soy based soft serve. I used to love milkshakes and I miss them since going vegan, but I can honestly say I had the best milkshake of my life here, and it was totally vegan! Can’t wait to come back some day! Also the lady who took our orders was a delight :)

I really enjoy eating here. The service is always friendly and timely. I have yet to see anything be out of stock which is really impressive. My order is always made perfect and I appreciate the consistency. I love coming here for the shakes too. Definitely recommend.
Stopped in for Burger Week and can't wait to make this a regular spot! There's something here for everyone with a lot of different menu options, including homemade mushroom/quinoa patties, and hearty buns. Lots of fun sauce options to try also.
I went back in for a shake after my meal, which far exceeded my expectations! You can get them with coconut milk, soy milk, or a combination.
Sad I waited so long to come here!
The best vegan burgers I have ever had in my life.
2018 Update: Still one of my go-to vegan restaurants in Portland. The burgers are amazing, and definitely check out some of their vegan hot dogs. So good! I like ordering online and picking up food on the way back home. Great options.
Amazing place for vegan burgers. Most of the burgers have beyond Patty but you can switch it for in house veggie one. The best part about this place is their milkshakes . 5 stars for the staff who is kind and patient.
So. Freaking. Scrumptious! They have the best vanilla shakes and their chili cheese dog is digitty-damn delicious. Completely plant-based and vegan friendly. Definitely a must have for us Foodies and those seeking to try something different and adventurous.
