Last week a friend and I went for lunch while the weather was still nice. The restaurant is Downtown directly across the street from an accessible parking lot. Because it was nice the windows were open and you could smell the meat cooking as you approached. The atmosphere inside was friendly and inviting. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The food was flavorful and filling. The portions were sizable. Eating here was an enjoyable experience.

The food here is amazing! We got delicious chicken, steak and vegetables. We also had amazing drinks with our meals and the bread pudding dessert was phenomenal! The staff are all attentive and kind, and my only complaint was it was a bit hard to sit at the high top table as the chairs were very wobbly. I recommend trying the lower tables instead. Definitely worth booking a reservation here!

We had an awesome lunch here after checking out the Warhol Museum. Service was excellent, shout out to Dustin! He asked if I'd like to try a Cafe Miel which I did. Even ordered a second one. I was able to order a deconstructed chicken sandwich and my 9 and 10 year old split the half pound burger. It was all prepared perfectly and hit the spot. We ordered papas and fugazza which did not leave room for dessert. We were walk-ins but arrived just after opening...by the time we left it was pretty busy for a Wednesday lunch. Looked pretty popular. All of the staff was attentive and were kind and quick. Very happy with our last minute lunch pick!

Rooftop seating in downtown Pittsburgh! Beautiful set up. Popular restaurant and can see why! Amazing food. Pricey but probably comparable to anywhere else downtown. BEST SALAD EVER. You won't regret it. Very filling.

The food here was absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I split the strip steak medium, the vegetables side and the bread pudding. Every single food item was really good. The steak was super flavorful and well cooked. I recommend upgrading to the potatoes because the salad and crostini were forgettable. The chimichurri was the best I’ve ever had! The vegetable side was so wonderful. Really tough to be impressive with vegetables but they were. Nice balsamic and lemon hit to them and char on them was awesome. Lastly, the bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had and the item of the weekend. That orange glaze, the cranberries and cherries and how lush the bread was, really unforgettable! My one complaint was though we had a reservation, we were treated as if we were a walk in. I think our server was overwhelmed and too busy. We subbed the potatoes on the steak and didn’t get them. Our drinks took 10 minutes for a glass of wine and a vodka mixed drink. He tried to converse at the end and he seemed like a great guy -again I think he was just busy and it was the strongest service for an out of towner- first timer!

We went for lunch on a Saturday and it was already starting to get busy. You can literally smell the wood-fired grill down the street. We were greeted by Dustin, our server, who was quite funny! For appetizer, we ordered the beef and choripollo (sausage/chicken) with chimmi-churri sauce...it was outstanding! We ordered the rosemary braised beef sandwich with lady finger potatoes and the steak sandwich with chips (comes with an aioli). The food came relatively quick and the sandwiches were huge! The bread is really fresh and obviously homemade. The steak (medium rare) was cooked to perfection! The combination of the meat, onion, and roasted red peppers was amazing!! (the braised beef was good, but not as good as the steak...IMHO). Can't say enough great things about this place. Would love to come back for dinner, maybe tomorrow! 😉

You can’t go wrong here. One of the best restaurants here in Pittsburgh if you love steaks 🥩😍 We’ve been going there for years, we went at their restaurant when they were in District and waited in the line for long time, and also we are going now in their current location with reservations. I definitely recommend to reserve in advance so you won’t miss the chance. Everything is great and delicious 😋

Service is quick and friendly. Nice patio. Food is better than most restaurants in Pittsburgh. You can smell the wood from the outside, so just follow your nose. Empanadas - generously filled - beef is good - chicken & chorizo is ok Carne Sandwich - sirloin is tender - wood fire taste is apparent - ciabatta is thick Tried the Pimenton Chimmi and it was pretty good. Upgraded the side to “Roasted Papas (potatoes)” for $3. They were pretty good. BTW if you want ketchup for your potatoes, you won’t get any here. They don’t have ketchup so you’ll have to enjoy your potatoes with some chimmi. Liked this place and would definitely come back.

One of our favorites and I ALWAYS recommend it. The good is amazing. The steak is tender and flavorful. We started with the fugazzo. We could've eaten 3 it was so good. The rosemary braised beef and the carne did not disappoint. Our 6yo daughter ate the quiqui wings. Service was on point. We didn't wait for drinks, refills or our food. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and we're big enough for my daughter and I.
