Excellent character dinner, food was great, the wait staff took great care of us. We only got three pictures with the characters compared to others that had at least triple the pictures.
We ate pizza, it was really good. I love the formula of ordering on the phone and receiving at our table. Removes the annoying time where we have to stand in line for 30-45 minutes, we can instead stay at our table and chat. I think more universal studios quick restaurants should be this way or offer this feature. It can take a little bit of time to receive the order when busy but took only 10-15 minutes today which is pretty great. I recommend.
Cafe 4 is a good place to get a quick lunch at Universal. I ate the chicken parm combo sandwich, which came with a side Caesar salad. Both tasted pretty good. Their ordering system is a bit confusing though because you have to send the requests through the app instead of ordering to an actual person. Besides that, everything else was satisfactory. They’re also very allergy friendly and able to accommodate to just about anything. Overall, I’d recommend going to Cafe 4 for a good lunch.
Ordering was weird and new to me, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish I knew one waitress' name because she was exceptionally helpful and patient. The food was good and a decent price for being inside an amusement park. Our family of four had a great experience. We had pizza, spaghetti, and chicken caesar salad.
Welp the Sbarro up at our mall in the Midwest went out of business. So my daughter was excited to see it in Orlando when we were visiting. She wanted sausage but there was not any so went with cheese. I decided for once to try the pepperoni stromboli. My daughter said the cheese tasted a little like chemicals. I did try it and I think it was the fact it was four cheese. Though we have had for cheese before and didn't taste like this so i understood what she meant. I can tell you when i pulled the cheese it was not stringy rather just called off in sections. As for the stromboli, i was really disappointed. The picture was easy better. It was cold inside it so the cheese was clumpy instead like the picture stringy. The outside was hard and you can see when flipped over as well it was hard. I said tasted it and there was no flavor. Only flavor is from the dipping sauce. Two cheese slices, 1 pepperoni stromboli, 1 dipping sauce and two drinks came to $36.36.
Food was decent, according to my husband. He had the bacon cheeseburger which in his words it was ok. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was delicious! My kids loved the chicken tenders and fries.
They will need to download the Universal Studios app to order and pay for food. Over all it was a great day.
The atmosphere there is just bland like any other place you go. The Chicken Alfredo has very little taste to it and very bland. Of course, they don't offer little packets of salt and pepper readily available. Eater beware. The staff was friendly though.
We did the dinnertime Character Dining at cafe 4 with the Marvel characters. Having done a bunch of character dining experiences at Disney, this one at Universal absolutely blew them out of the water. The superheroes spent SO much time with our party and never once rushed us, were absolutely amazing and there were so many included photos taken. The heroes actually sat down with us at our table multiple times to just chat to us. The food was surprisingly good also and there were great options for kids and fussy eaters. Definitely the best character interactions we've had across years of visiting Disney and Universal and will definitely be returning.

It was one of the best experiences I have been part of in a long time. The characters Spiderman and Captain America were so inviting, invested, and amazing in making me feel and my family with a feeling of what I can only describe as incredible and immersive. The photographer, "Carlos," made my kids believe he was part of the "Daily Bugle" and had such an incredible interaction with my grandson and my family. Captain America introduced himself as a Brooklyn native and Spider-Man as a Queens native and Carlos from the daily bugle bugle from Manhattan once we told them we were from New York City. My cousin is an inspiring photographer, and Carlos gave her a pin of a small camera and told my cousin she was now part of the Daily Bugle, and that made her entire year. This trio was entertaining, awesome actors, and made the entire family feel special. Thank you to all three of you for making it the best day ever. Thank you to the entire staff and the other characters as well, "Wolverine, Storm, and Rogue."
The servers were on point, and the food was a buffet of everything, but what makes this a special place is the interaction you will not find in any other theme park as remarkable as this one. Carlos, the photographer, was very careful in taking very careful candid pictures when Spider-Man and Captain America were at our table and when they were posing in the designated picture area with them both. We asked for extra Christmas pictures with Spider-Man and Captain America, and without any hesitation, they all three made it happen with different poses and 1st class interactions every single time. Thank you, and I highly recommend this memorable special place to everyone who is planning to visit the Islands of Adventure theme park in Universal Studios.
Went to Cafe 4 for the marvel character dinner and it was worth it! There was a very large variety of food with something for everyone, pizza ,sliders, salad, potatoes, cookies, etc. They were not in a rush to get us out and our server had a great personality. The characters were so fun and in character. You can tell they enjoy playing these characters! Great experience and we will return!
