Complimentary chips with cheese sauce and salsa before every meal and a warm sopaipilla after the meal. Beef fajitas are bomb!! Service is excellent!
I've been Chelino's faithful for years, but ever since they moved to Nino's old restaurant the food and the service has been lacking to say the least. Not to mention the feeling of disgust I get just walking into that dirty building. So tonight I tried something new, and let me tell you, it was AWESOME! It's a small building considering how many cars were outside, but it was a short wait for a table on a Friday night. The salsa was so good and fresh. It wasn't watery like Chelino's. The guacamole was bright green and creamy and the cheese was very good as well. The prices are competitive to what we usually pay, and they are very generous with the portions of their well-made food. We were surprised to find there was actually some chicken in the enchiladas! The service was OUTSTANDING, especially since they were so busy. Forget Chelino's.. We will definitely be back! Give it a try, you won't regret it!
Amazing first visit. The chips are delicious, thick instead of those paper thin ones popular elsewhere. The cheese sauce actually tasted like it was made with cheese instead of a bland bechamel sauce. I had the beef guisado verde with the Mexican potatoes and corn. The meat was savory and spicy. The potatoes were tender, melt in your mouth bursts of flavor. But the standout was the corn side dish. Roasted corn, onion, tomato and peppers. The best version of this dish I've ever had. I will definitely be going back.
Comparable to Ted's or Chelino's!. Who doesn't like Ted's? Wait until you try San Marco's! Everything is delicious except the tortilla chips. They are very brittle and break off even in the salsa. The flavor is also bland. The best chips are at Chelino's! I went in on one of many visits and they had changed to the Chelino style chip. I was very happy to see the change. As I found out, they had to buy them from Chelino's due to the Moore Tornado where they were made had been destroyed. I told the manager and he was a bit surprised that I made the comment about how good the new chips were. Hope they go back to them. On another visit, they started mopping the floor with a highly offending, high ammonia soap. I had to be re-seated and nothing tasted good that day. Once you get that smell in your nose, it's hard to get rid of it. All in all though I would rate the Mexican restaurant in the low to mid 90's. Hey, only one bad experience out of many is not bad at all! Go check em out!
We ordered Ala Carter to go, not usually something we do. Brought order home & it was wrapped in clear plastic to keep warm. Food was excellent-layers of flavor & serving size great for the price.
I think their food tastes very fresh
My favorite place on okc!!!
I love this place! The portions are huge and the staff staff is amazing! The managers and owners are the nicest guys around! Every time I go here I can't hardly walk out because I eat so much. Not a bad thing on the menu. GOTTA TRY IT!!!
We love this place, stumbled on it by accident as we were heading home from a long day hiking with the kids. Since then this has been our new go to for Mexican food in Oklahoma City. The service is always great and the food is always fantastic!!! At the end of your meal make sure and get the sopapilla they are so good!! My favorite dish is the burrito loco but I haven't had anything bad it's all very good!!
Loved the chips with individual warm queso and salsa for each person to start with. The margaritas are over the top and so tasty. Loved the chamoy stick. Everyone's plates were so good, arrived quickly and tasted great. We all had enough to take home and ended with sopapillas with honey. Fantastico!
The frozen strawberry margarita was the best I've ever had! The service was friendly and attentive. The queso was lacking. But the refried beans and taquitos made up for it, and finishing up with the fried ice cream was a good choice! Will be back for sure!
The waitress was very nice!! Food was ok, my enchiladas wasnt very tasteful!
Got there at 11am, had lunch served and almost done before the crowd came in. Great food, huge portions!
Excellent customer service.
Friendly employees
Received excellent customer from Chris
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I thought all places had the same beans and cheese but they are so much better here! They have a mildly distinct flavor. Actually, everything is better here.
The chicken enchiladas and the shredded beef enchiladas are delicious and I love that they have a few peas in the rice. The salsa was fresh and the flour tortillas were thinner which I really liked. The Jose potatoes were really good too, I just need to remember to ask for extra tomatoes on them (only because I love tomatoes!)
Service was quick and friendly. I couldn't get through calling them but it only took a few minutes to place the order and get it to go and they were kinda busy at the time.
I will definitely be eating here often and can't wait to try the fajitas and other items.
Everytime we dine in our food is warm and tasty. Our favorite are the mix fajitas, beef enchiladas, and ceviche. We eat here at least once a week. Their margaritas are delicious and they don't skimp you on alcohol like other places. Always a friendly staff, delicious food no matter what we order and the best value in town for all the food they offer you! Recommend to all my friends.
Busy place, very large seating area and outdoor seating as well. We sat near the dish cart and patio exit door so it was kind of annoying my chair was bumped several times as table cleaners were coming back and forth. Food was just okay but it came out quick.
Food was very good and hot. Timely. Soup was full of fish and shrimp 🍤.
