Keeping it real out here in Murray Hill!
Pretty fun time with a friend tonight. The workers were nice and made it a very comfortable experience. The menu of food are my type of food. We got 2 shrimp dishes and they were amazing, the drinks were quite unique.
Can't wait to try Ruby's at the other locations as well
Came here for a quick bite and drinks and loved it! Their sweet potato fries are well seasoned and delightfully crispy, and the watermelon cocktail was super refreshing. Will have to come back for a full meal next time!
The fries were amazing as was the burger. The Ragu was great though left something to be desired. Had a strong beef stew taste and the burrata was not as flavorful.
Fabolous Dinner Experience (during COVID 2021)!
Checked in inside with the hostess. We got our temperature checked and filled out the covid tracer survey. Picked our seats outside. All the tables come with hand sanitizer and screens separating the guests.
Ordered a bunch of drinks and food. The watermelon drink (not heavily sweetened, very refreshing and great) and the Ruby Spritz (a reg aperol spritz). The drinks are strong :) For food, we got orders of the truffle fries (delish, you must order this!), the Bondi (order it with bacon), and the shrimp pasta (to die for). All the food was AMAZING! Can’t wait to come back.
I do not have a bad thing to say about Ruby's! I have always considered it a brunch place and would go there more often is the well-deserved wait was not so long. However, I went for dinner and this meal was perfect. It was so reasonably priced and I felt healthy eating it. This is a great weekday place or sunday evening dinner. Also, I am one to get a drink with dinner, but I opted for the lemonade sans alcohol and it was actually DELICIOUS. Overall, this was a great meal and I now suggest to go back almost every week!
Ruby’s is definitely one of the gems of the Kip’s Bay Area, and its hard to not keep coming back with friends. They’ve done a great job adapting to the circumstances, and they continue to serve great breakfast and lunch.
Be sure to stop by on a nice sunny day, you can’t go wrong!
This is a great spot for brunch and lunch. their little outdoor dining area is very nice and they also let you bring your dog which is a huge plus
