Dorm rooms themselves are very good (trust me, I have toured a couple different colleges before)
I will not rate it five stars, because I am sick of waiting over 5 minutes for what the tour guides claim to be the ""fastest elevators in the state""
On the plus side, Sandburg Grind is free to most students
Co-ed dorms, use stairs to stay in shape, greet those you meet since you may end up marrying one of them. Also, close to cafeteria is a plus.
From a parent's perspective - move in day went very well. The student staff on hand were extremely helpful. Dorms were clean and move in ready.
I got my first Fortnite Victory in these dorms. Out of all the things I've experienced for the first time here at the University, this is when I became a man, and I'm glad the Sandburg residence halls were here to house me and my excitement during my transformation.
I had a great experience at Sandburg halls. The food was good. There was a workout facility. They had late night food. Great place to meet people and make friends when you are new to a city!
I've lived here for about 3 years now and it never lets me down. Especially East Tower! Only bad side is that the elevators break down a lot, and there are lots and lots of tiny spiders on the lower floors. Otherwise Sandburg has been pretty darn great. Just make sure you get an upper level floor to avoid the creepy crawlies.
It's a typical dorm, but it is very nice and homey
My freshmen year in Sandburg South will be unrivaled. It was a great experience as I met many friends, had good times, enjoyed the conveniences of the cafe and store. If you go to UWM it is a must to stay in Sandburg.
Best Dorms to live at that UWM has, North, South, and West tower are the best value. It may not be too luxurious, but at least you don't have to ride an overcrowded bus to get to class.
Easy parking to drop your kid off and their stuff on a weekly basis. The first move in was extremely simple, the staff had it well planned out!
