Hands down the best jerk chicken and oxtail I've eaten. Goat curry, chicken curry, jerk chicken egg rolls and plantains were delicious, too. All great food and authentic flavor. Great service and upbeat atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
Very nice place to visit. The chicken was soft and tender. The veggie plate hit the spot. Fantastic food.The bar looked fun. I didn't have any drinks. Other than the fact that they didn't have any PLANTAINS 😔. I had very a nice meal and a very nice time. I'm sure this spot will satisfy. 😋
Had the Brown Stew Chicken, Rice and Peas and Cabbage. Washed it down wit a double shot of Hennessy and a Guinness. Food was good but my only complaint is the cabbage needs season. Just a lil salt lol.
Long wait times to receive food ,give a accurate time before you get your food to be ready , customer services needs work and needs to be more professional but the atmosphere is nice
The food was delicious. I had got the small jerk chicken and the 6 piece fried wings. They were good and worth the wait. The jerk chicken was good and it came with rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage could of had some seasoning to it but the rice and peas were very good. The atmosphere was chill. I would recommend to call your order ahead but they will ask for payment over the phone with your credit card so if your uncomfortable with giving it over the phone get you a prepaid MasterCard to do it.
The only downside to the place is the parking because where it is on the street it is hardly no parking on the street.

Great quality food and very much worth the price. Meat was seasoned perfectly and falling off the bone just how we like it.

So we ordered large Jerk Chicken and Oxtail dinner with Plaintains and man I'll tell ya'll like this; you'll know when you've had great food when the flavor of the food is so good that it brings nostalgic memories and have you reminiscing to your Lady. The staff was all love and genuinely good people. I ate my food slow to appreciate the love that went into it. I can't wait to return on our next visit. Thank you Uppa Yard for the wonderful experience and food.
They have the best jerk and jerk sauce in the city. Rice is dry with no curry or some type of sauce on it. Good drinks. Good atmosphere.

This restaurant is very popular so its a long wait sometimes. It's worth the wait. you can per order over the phone if you like. They have a bar as well the margaritas are delicious and strong. So bring your designated driver. I love going here for a taste of Jamaican food.
