By far the best customer service I had experienced in Miami. Our server, Evan, was outstanding, very knowledgeable about the menu offering impressive recommendations all great. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere felt like stepping back in time with beautiful 1930s prohibition decor. an unforgettable experience. After dinner we moved to "the living room " for drinks
I don’t know the story behind this restaurant; I heard an inspiring one, but I cannot confirm its veracity. However, this place is outstanding!
The atmosphere matches Miami’s fancy cadence with accuracy. The music is louder than a traditional restaurant, but this is far from being a boring, uptight, traditional restaurant; it has the vibe. The food is delicious, and the selection of wine is splendid. In my estimation, prices could be less fierce, but I guess this contributes to keeping Amelia’s an exclusive hub for rigorous mouths. I ordered the exquisite Filet Mignon, which may sound basic, but its tenderness was only surpassed by our sweet, kind, efficient waitress.
Found this restaurant by a friend’s recommendation, since the entrance you feel the great vibes and once you go in it’s just a stunning place decoration and ambiance it’s a 10/10. The service it’s outstanding our server was very attentive and helped us through the menu, we already knew what we wanted and the server assured us that we were getting the best of the best and he was not wrong everything everything was delicious not a single plate that I didn’t like super tasty, and delicious in general it’s a whole experience going to this place you won’t regret it!
Amazing dining experience at Amelia’s 1931!!
Vintage look with a modern feel.
Love the fusion twists to classic meals. Delicious and savory, enjoyed every bite.
The cocktails are on another level. I believe our Bartender was Kevin (apologies if I’m incorrect)
But he made my husband and I a couple of cocktails that blew us away. We went on a weeknight and it wasn’t too busy so it made for a nice and intimate evening.
Last but not least, I love the decor and the vibe. Cool late night happy hour with 90’s and 2000’s hip hop. So glad I don’t have to go all the way to Wynwood or Brickell for upscale dining and cocktail experience!
Where do I even begin! OMG it is amazing. From Adrian our waiter who was the most amazing waiter I have had in a long time. His service was top notch . His attentiveness, his way of speaking to one and explaining everything was wow I’m so glad my wife and I went with his suggestions. Now let’s get to the even better stuff the food. Aileen truly has a talent that is a blessing. The things she combines and creates are to die for. It was a total party in my mouth. Her food is so good that I even dared to eat things that normally I wouldn’t. Some of the top restaurants in Miami have nothing on Amelia 1931. Other restaurants should come and learn from her for sure. To hear her staff speak so highly of her even when they think people can’t hear is amazing. Her management team when she is not there is on top of it all and they too have amazing customer service. Can’t wait to go back and don’t forget to visit la sala cute cozy place if you just want to have drinks and apps. At times I want a little something late at night so it’s good to know that from 11-1 they have a late night happy hour
Had a great first time at Amelia’s 1931. I love FINKA so I was very excited to try this place. The place looks absolutely amazing and you can tell it was well thought out. I loved the music and the atmosphere here. I think the menu could be expanded a bit to be more diverse.
This is a reopening of a restaurant. The opened up a bigger area and now available for fine dining, Cuban/Asian fusion food. Service was great and we were really impressed with the food. Appetizers were delicious and so was the main course. Great place to try out.
Loved everything about this place. Even the fact that my table wasn't ready when I arrived and they had me sit on a nice spot where we had drinks and the incredible tasty pork belly! As a compliment for waiting 20min we were given a free appetizer! The espresso martini was excellent (My wife's weapon of choice) We also had the miso onion soup, boniato gnocchi and the mignon that was out of this world! For desert we had the guava one! 🔥
The wow factor began from the moment we pulled up in our car. The signage was deceptively clever! We thought at first we were walking into a classic dry cleaners.
After reading the website we were concerned that we hadn’t made reservation. But the host, Leo, did not make us feel uncomfortable, instead he immediately shared with us the advantages of sitting at the bar, and he was so right! There we met another amazing person, Yasmin, our overly delightful Bar Manager! We immediately felt at home! Coming from west Pembroke Pines we felt a little out of our comfort zone but she completely understood the assignment!! The drinks were amazing, the food did NOT disappoint and the vibe was soothing and uplifting!
Coming from the food and beverage industry myself, it was a real pleasure to see the community within the staff and how passionate they are about their craft.
We were impressed learning about the history behind this family owned business.
My husband had the pork belly appetizer, delish! I had the octopus, also amazing! For our main entree I had the Lomo with risotto and he had the Steak Frites with fries. For dessert we had the cheesecake with crushed Oreo crumbs and a layer of coconut, so yummy!!
Service was amazing! Not once did we have to wait for service! We are definitely making Amelia’s 1931 a monthly treat and we are recommending it to all our friends!
We are planning to check out the restaurant on Thursdays when they have live music! We’re sure it will be just as amazing!
Thank you for the amazing overall experience!
100/100!
We were absolutely blown away by the food, the decor and the service!
We stumbled across this hidden treasure on Friday night and were welcomed into what felt like a magical place. Whoever designed this place must be an interior designer genius, they were able to capture the romance and class, mixed in with some old world charm of the early 1900s without making the place look dated. Personally I have never seen a place make me so happy!
More importantly the food is actually good!!
Lately many places have an excellent aesthetic only to deliver a disappointing culinary experience. THAT IS NOT the case here! Every single dish was flavorful and cooked perfectly.
Then, even more impressive the service & attention to detail blew me out of the water! Jasmine was the sweetest and most knowledgeable waitresses I’ve met in YEARS! She really topped off our experience to quite literally make it perfect!
Personally I’m used to restaurants meeting 1/3 or 2/3 of my expectations regarding ambiance/decor, quality of food and service. However, I am STILL reeling from what a lovely experience we had last night.
Thank you Jasmine and Amelia’s team! I am absolutely in love with the place ❤️ and can’t wait to go back!
