Angilo's is simply the best pizza in town. They even have great sandwiches as well. I've been going here since I was a kid and have never had a bad meal there!
I’m originally from Louisville so I know what I’m talking about when it comes to pizza, especially Angilos. They are the best. I haven’t even had their pizza � for 40 years, 1978, the last time, and still rave about them. Time to plan a day trip back to my hometown and get some delicious pizza from Angilos on Berry Blvd again.
We stopped by to enjoy their pizzas. We got 2 medium pizzas 1) Supreme & 1) meat lovers with drinks, of course. They came quickly & as ordered. There were several other customers. The restaurant was clean, tables were clean & ready for customers to sit & enjoy their meals as well. The employees were very polite and courteous. They made sure that our meal/visit was a positive experience. Bathrooms were clean. We've been coming for years & will greatly miss them.
This has been a south end staple and sad to see it shutting the doors after 60 years. Great employees, great pizza, and many memories made.
Clean nice little family owned. Food was good. If you haven't been go it's worth a try.
Wow. This pizza was fantastic! I love that they did what I used to do at my old restaurant, put the toppings under the cheese! I was so happy when I seen that! Will be coming here from now on!
5 stars for the nostalgia. We made one last visit, before closing. Pizza did not look or taste, close to what we were use too. It was still great to visit one more time and say goodbye.
Have good pizza. It's a nice place. They have good food. Sad it's closing. Now strippers will have to call Papa John's. They won't be able to get good pizza that's filling. Just a lot of bread instead of meat.
Ate at Angelo's with one of my best buds. While I've eaten their pizza at his house via take-out many times, this was the first time dining in for both of us.
Got the meatball sandwich and it found it quite tasty. Real Mom and Pop atmosphere with clean facilities and great, friendly service!
Great service and food. One of the best places in the southend to get a pizza. Has been in business every since I can remember. It was one of dads favorite places to eat out at.

It's a shame it's going out of business the end of May. My GF used to come here as a kid and has had good memories of this place went to get a pizza for one last time and it was good.
So I stopped in here for lunch which admittedly I do not get to do as much as I used to.
As I was walking back to wash my hands to my surprise I was pushed very forcefully into the corner of the dark bathroom. all of the sudden this voice whispered "Eat me so fricking hard right now stud muffin!" I whirled around with my cat-like reflexes to find a large deluxe pizza staring me down with lust...pure lust.
I was so confused due to it being a pizza that talks and as I scanned the dining room to see if any one else had picked up on it there was Crystal "Sauce" Lay standing there in a bikini made of pizza giving me a thumbs up.
All in all great place that will be sorely missed although my only complaint is Ms.Pacman still will not answer my calls.
