The business has been open for 3 years. A little pricey for the food. Owners known by locals that's why it's popular. Hamburgers and hotdogs are served with onion and pepper slices but they are nothing special. Tamales are ok and the Corn and Hot Cheetos Corn are the best.
Hotdog $3.00
Hamburger $3.99
Fries and onion rings $3.50
Hotdog and fries $5.00
Hamburger and fries $6.50
Family ran business. Very sweet lady running the show . They've a full menu from burgers, dogs, corn, tamales and much more.parking is tight.
This place is awesome. Fair warning it's like a food cart, but they have a couple tables on the side walk. The bacon wrapped hot dogs are delicious and the French fries are perfection. Some of the best fries I've ever had. Crispy and delicious. The churro has some kind of filling (maybe peanut butter?) And are to die for. If you're looking for a quick bite this place is it. Can't wait to try a tamale sometime!
Note: cash only!
Today Sunday at 9pm, my family and I wanted to eat tamales and there aren't many places where you can find them at that time,I looked in Google and saw this place, the prices and the food are AWESOME! same as the people who are also very friendly and welcoming, GREAT customer service. Definitely I will
go back for more.
Wow I asked my sweet husband to bring my family elotes en vaso and he came over with the best! My family half expected it to be de lata (from can) but they were all pleasantly surprised & thankful.
Definitely coming back here, the champurrado was also delicious but damn really hot. Gracias brenda!
You have got to check out this neighborhood (in the front yard) carryout restaurant I went to on a trip to San Diego...my daughter found it surfing the net...its open in the evening only and not everyday...everything we ordered was delicious...chicken tamales...elotes...even the cheeseburger and fries put In and Out Burger to shame ...my daughter calls it Auntie Brenda's...she is sooo friendly
Among the surprise treasures in San Diego. Ideal hot cheetos elote. Strong tamales - faves are the beef and after that (suprisingly) the strawberry.Super pleasant. Yah, its outdoors on the street, but that's just how I wish to have my tamales.Make a night of tamales as well as involve Brenda's after that go down the street to Lupita's to finish it off.
My fam and I like coming here for a late night antojo. They are very friendly and respectful. Food is delicious too!
