Good food and coffee in key west. 13 bucks for coffee and sandwich which is not bad. Will come back again.
I wish I could even articulate how much we love this place. We stayed in Key West for a month and genuinely looked forward to getting our coffee from Edwin every morning. Not even a few days in he had memorized both of our orders and had them ready for us by the time we got to the counter. Not to mention we’re both coffee snobs to the max and this is quite easily, the best coffee in town.
They serve the best Cuban coffee I've ever had anywhere. One of the best coffees I've ever had in my life. And, it hits that mark every time. My regular morning ritual every day I'm in Key West.
This place opens at four in the morning. If you have an early morning this is a great place to start the day. The sandwiches are really good and the coffee is hot, really hot. Give yourself some time to let it cool or you will scald your mouth.
So I'm not personally crazy about the style of coffee in the keys, but the iced coffee here was one of the better ones I had. What I went back for the second day in a row were the chicken empanadas. They were THE BEST empanadas I've ever had. Rent a bike (or drive) and head up to this spot a little ways of the main tourist path. It's a walk up window only with just a few stools outside, but grab your food and find a shady bench nearby.
The coffee was great, I got a cortado and a cafe con leche. The breakfast sandwiches were awesome.

The coffee ☕️ really was good and don't leave w/o having their meat empanada. Good enuf to have 2. Next time, I want to try their Cuban sandwich.

First time trying "The Best Coffee in Town" and we will definitely be back. The coffee was amazing and we had a bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread. Yum! They do have the best coffee, everyone needs to check this place out.

You can't judge the atmosphere because it's perfect for what it is, the service is great and the food is simple. Without a doubt. Doubt the best empanadas on Key West! You got to get there early because they close late afternoon, make them in the morning and when they're gone they're gone. Definitely legit. Must try foodie spot
