Service was very quick and the food is delicious. Not too salty for those who are watching their intake and a quick sprinkle will get you where you need to be for salt lovers. Decent price for a decent amount of food.
My first experience at this restaurant was amazing I ordered an oxtail with rice and peas and two beef Jamaican patty. Now my second time going to this restaurant again the food was great but the beef patty was burnt and hard. I am so disappointed with that because I really was looking forward to eat their beef patty again but this time around I didn’t like it. I wish I was told that the beef patty was overcooked. Also I tried their mac & cheese for the first time and it was good I recommend everyone to try it. But next time do better with the beef patty.
Great Jamaican food at a fair price. The jerk chicken and ribs were perfectly smoky and well seasoned. The spicy jerk sauce was delicious! The oxtail was tender with a slightly sweet sauce. The rice and beans were exceptional with a perfect texture. We also took some meat patties to go, and they were excellent as well. I highly recommend!
Look, if you live in the Indy metro area you owe it to yourself to go over to Jamaican Style Jerk. Simply the best, most consistent chicken in town. I eat the dark meat chicken quarter lunch about once a week. It is always the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. It astounds me that after eating there for a decade (?) now, it still floors me. It's delicious. It's inexpensive.
A chicken leg, chicken thigh, rice and peas, steamed cabbage (that is absolutely worth ordering by itself) and two plantains for less than $8? If there's a better deal in town for food half as good, I haven't found it. If you want to splurge, go ahead and get the oxtail gravy on your rice and peas, you'll still get change for a ten-spot.
The oxtail is great, the pork chop is too. So are the ribs.
Seriously, head over there. Now.
My first time having Jamaican food and it was amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail which I have never had. I was scared but it was outstanding. It was like small pieces of roast, soft and tender and well cooked. The chicken was phenomenal. I was told to try the ribs and curried goat on the next trip.
Hidden gem! The portions were big and the jerk chicken was flavorful and smoked to perfection. The chicken was falling off the bone! This is my second time here and the quality is very consistent. Also the best side of cabbage I’ve ever had!
They’re very delicious but I did notice that they took out more money than my receipt says they did so I would just bring cash when you come here but overall I love the food it’s delicious especially the curry goat
I’m not sure what other people were referring to as far as wait time and service but my experience was 10/10!! I walked in and there was no long line, I was greeted by the cashier (Terri is what my receipt says) and even when I mentioned it being my first time and asked for suggestions, she didn’t get irritated and helped me make a quick decision. I got the jerk chicken/rib combo with bbq sauce on the side and it took about 5 minutes for them to prepare it for me and send me on my way. When I got home I was soooo elated by the look of the food but that first bite? Amazinggggg! I loved everything. The seasoning from the meat went perfectly with the cabbage and rice and peas. I even got gravy (oxtail juice) on my rice and peas and it was sooo good. I’m literally on a high after that meal and still have left overs for tomorrow! This was delicious, thank y’all for the great service and the delicious food. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice to dine with you all this evening!

My wife and I 1st experience with jamaican cuisine. It was a very pleasant experience for the both of us. Starting with exceptional customer service, informative, polite and intuitive. The food was fresh, flavorful and abundance. We will definitely be back for other menu item aswell as the same items purchased.
