Small quaint sushi spot with authentic Japanese feel. Freshest fish. Best flavors and sake. One of the cleanest and most delicious omakase places in Cali.
Sorry, I wish I had the hindsight to take photos of the food as It came out but I was just mesmerized. The soft shell crab… I was speechless! My personal favorite was the charlotte roll (eel) omg! Amazing!! Service was courteous and prompt. Not to mention the sushi chef(I sat at the bar) was a treat to watch. Dinner and a show! A true artist. I don’t come to Newport area often but I shall make it a point to visit any time I’m here. Highly recommend :)
Nagisa is fantastic little known gem here in Corona del Mar... it is far more traditional and family owned and operated.. it's not a trendy, pretentious place... it is, however, the best place to have a phenomenal night of sushi and saki... quiet and the sushi chef consistantly delivers!!!! Sit at the bar sometime and just ask him to create an experience. Trust me on that, he will

This quiet little sleepy place off PCH is a must stop!!! Stopped in on a Friday and was greeted with open arms. The restaurant was designed as a Japanese temple. Our service spoke broken English but was extremely knowledgeable about the food. We tried 8 rolls and all were delicious. If you like sushi, this is a must stop in OC
The best sushi I have had in years! Such a beautiful family run restaurant. Each piece of sushi is made with love and pride. Can't wait to go back!
I don’t know how I overlooked this little gem all the years I have lived here. My mother made a reservation for my birthday (make sure you make one) and they made us feel like queens. I had an adorable card they made for me, and they were entirely too generous. Hands down the best tasting sushi I have ever had and the service was amazing. I will definitely be back!
So good!! Everything tasted so fresh. The Premium Salmon Roll was so delicate and the rice was perfectly sticky and cooked. The Ayumi Roll was fantastic. The crispy rice puffs perfectly topped it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Nagisa is by far the best sushi in socal and possibly california. Ive been having the most amazing dinners with Yasu for 12 years plus. This unassuming place is a MUST! If you like authentic sushi just sit at the bar and everything is great from the snapper, to the toro and amaebi and uni. This is my favorite sushi restaurant
This was my second visit to Nagisa. The first experience was a phone in order and everything was perfect. On this second visit, everything was perfect. The Wasabi is fresh and authentic. All fish was top notch. The sushi rice was cooked to perfection. I plan on visiting more often and trying more off their delicious menu.
The best Sushi I have ever had!! I have been eating here for 34 years. It is always the freshest fish. Yasu is an incredible sushi chef. The service is wonderful. I feel very lucky to have Nagisa so close to my home. I won't eat sushi anywhere else❤
