The patio is great and doesn't get too loud even when it's full. The burger is always delicious! Don't forget to get the poblano relish! Not spicy but adds a lot of flavor to your favorite burger.
Look I've been coming to this place for years! Why, because the food is just that good and the service is always above par! Open late always ready to take care of the guest. Arthur's is the real deal whether you're by yourself or a group of 10 Arthur's never disappoints. So if you haven't been here, then I don't know what rock you've been hiding under! Your only next option is to come here choose from some of their burgers which are some of the best in the city! Saddle up to the bar or grab a table, a delectable bite to eat and a cold beverage and enjoy!
I love this place! I have been eating at Arthur’s Hyde park for 20+ years now. I’m happy to have one near my house on the east side. Order a burger you won’t be disappointed!
We went for the burgers but there was a very pleasant surprise. We tried to go to Arthur's a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. It was so busy (45 minute wait) we decided we would try somewhere else. It did look good enough that we went back with other friends on Saturday for lunch... good choice.
burgers... very good
crab soup... very good
fries... good
brownie... indescribably delicious
I don't usually get desserts when I eat out but our friends decided to split a brownie. It looked so go my wife and I split one too. Every once in a while I find a restaurant with an item that I like so much I do take out for just that single item. I can see do take out for these brownies going forward.
The Best Burgers In Anderson. I ordered the Buckaroo Burger. It came with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, caramelized onions, and bacon. It was cooked to order and tasted awesome. Everything about it was great, even the bun. As long as Arthur's is around, I'll probably never order another burger from anywhere else on the Beechmont strip again.
Now open in Anderson, Arthur's Cafe: Anderson. It's located where the former Perkins used to be, between 8 Mile and Nagel Rd on Beechmont Ave.
I unknowingly (this evening) went to their 2nd day of business. I thought they had been open for a few weeks. That said, a lot of the staff appeared a little green/young. One of the bar tenders used a cheat sheet to describe a couple of beers, but that's understandable considering it was their second day in business. And I'd rather they have a cheat sheet than just a guess. Staff made a point to remember my name, and which beer I'd had to see if I'd like another.
Their menu is identical to the Hyde Park location, and I was told there will be a new addition to the burger menu called "The Anderson". I would be negligent if I didn't mention the Burger Madness every Sun, Mon, Tues. unlimited toppings, and cheeses limited to 6... yeah, limited to 6 cheeses.
Sitting at the bar with a HP location regular on one side, and a couple who'd never been to the HP Arthur's, we were all getting along joking about my impending heart attack after seeing the size of my burger, and it really had a great friendly local bar kind of vibe. Benefit that this location, Parking!! Huge parking lot surrounds the Anderson location. Oh yeah, free Wifi is a plus as well. Password: arthurswifi . Nice local addition to the national chain restaurant strip that is Beechmont Ave.
The food was good . Our server was really good. The only complaint, the temperature was freezing so I looked to see where the cold air was coming from and there was an air vent directly across and above from our booth that was covered in black mold and filthy. Made me a little concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant
Our server has it down on what to do. We had a large group and handled the situation very good. If you want a burger different than fast food burgers, this is a good place to eat. Wide variety of toppings to make your own and a variety of choices of different styles of burgers on the menu. They do serve chicken, fish, and a variety of salads. Appetizers are good. Has a bar. Desserts too.
4 stars 🌟 on the nachoes and turkey club-i did ask for it not to be toasted, but it actually was good toasted, hamburger was well not medium, but the kids liked the IBC & corn dogs. Too expensive in my opinion, my 1st time here so I had no idea. Service needs some work. Not the friendliest person, seemed like she was just going through the motions, she didn't clear the plates, didn't check back, and didn't notice my broccoli was too cold to melt butter. Glad we stopped to at least have a new experience.
We had very friendly server, she did a good job and checked on us frequently. I had a Philly burger 🍔 with sweet potato fries and it was very good, my husband had a sweet baby Ray bbq chicken salad, he wasn't very impressed with his salad😔, it was mostly greens with a very small amount of chicken.🐔 They have mostly burgers with several different choices.. They also offer salads, sides and sandwiches🥪. There is a bar and alcoholic drink menu at the tables🍻🍹🍸. The restaurant is has a sports bar atmosphere with TV's and ball games on.
Delicious Codfish sandwich & the jalapeno wonton appetizers were very tasty as well! Just gotta give them time to cool off, don't be impatient like me lol Very tasty and the house made sweet potato fry dipping sauce was a great addition .
The service was great the food was excellent. Huge portions don't plan on not taking extra's home if you get an appetizer.
Need try the fish. And The Onion rings are a must.🥰🥲
Food is very good. Drinks are reasonably priced. Staff is friendly. They are known for their burgers but there is more in the menu. A variety in food options.
Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a good atmosphere. The wait staff was quick to take orders and checked back on the table numerous times throughout our meal. The food was quite delicious, the hamburger well made. The atmosphere was modern and the noise level kept at a good volume, easy to enjoy a lively conversation.
My favorite place! Amazing burgers and the fried cheese is unrivaled. They have Thirsty Thursdays with half-price drafts and wine pours, as well as half-price pilsners on Sundays, and other good deals. Great service, too!
Great burgers and many ways to specialize. The fish and chips is also recommended. A tad bit high on prices or else we would go more often. Kid friendly, a great family restaurant.
