Having lived in Houston, TX for a few years, I was convinced I wouldn't find tacos like the ones I had there. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. I found El Taco Loco and the steak tacos that I had were fantastic, just as good as the ones I left behind in Texas. The prices are fair and the green sauce was delicious! I will definitely be back!

The best tacos I’ve ever had! I’m not sure if the tortillas are homemade, but they definitely taste that way. My new favorite restaurant ❤️

Great beef soup...best I've found from Mobile to Birmingham. Had fresh vegetables and well cooked beef. They definitely didn't leave anything out. Great job ! I will definitely be ordering again on my next visit to Birmingham.

Wonderful little place with a great atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel at home. The food is great at an affordable price. The carving on the booth seats are outstanding. They have the thin chips and salsa.

My boyfriend loves this place as he says it is very authentic in terms of Mexican dishes. The decor is beautiful and eye catching. I recommend the horchata as a drink for newbies to authentic Mexican cuisine. Price was medium-low. Around $20 for two meals.
