This place makes you feel like you have traveled back in time and actually taste real meat for a burger. You can actually taste the difference between a fast food chain and fresh home style meat. The prices are great too, a double cheese, with fries and a large coke of 12 bucks but with the taste of freshness meat. That sounds a pretty good deal to me. Also, I have a friend who never likes onion rings before, and it is now loving onion rings. But only at Hill-Berts. Says there's something about the rings that taste better than the other restaurants. Also, don't let the picture fool you. It may look plain, but really, it's pretty good burger meal. Yes, I am going back there
Uuuhhhhhmaaaaazing wings! They're SO good! The burger is kinda on the okay side, the cheese never melted on it which kinda made me sad 🫠 I love the skylight on the inside of the building and the service is wonderful!
Neat local place with a long history. Burgers are really good. The fries are just okay. McDonald's came at them hard in the 80s. Insert eyeroll here!
Great Service! Friendly Faces. Good food. Decent cheap prices and combinations. Small Restaurant/Diner. Diffently will come back again. Eaten here multiple times. This time we tried the wings, they were delicious. Nice, crispy and hot.
Passed by this place accidentally and didn’t know what it was until I looked it up! We came back this weekend to check it out and the food was absolutely fantastic. We got a cheeseburger and the turkey sandwich!

Oh wow what a great place to get a burger. We ordered a variety of burgers: plain hamburger, cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger. All were made exactly to our order. The meat was excellent in size and taste. We ordered fries and onion rings. Our son said the bacon was the best he has ever had on a burger. The onion rings were crisp and seasoned well. The fries were crisp on the outside....not soggy. We will definitely come back when we come back to Austin.

This is a lovely yellow restaurant built in a former Wendy's. They have excellent, large-portion burgers, with that small town flavor that only the best burgers have.
They also have a "steakburger" which is a chicken-fried steak between two buns. I didn't get to try ot on this trip, but I'll definitely be going to on my next trip. Enjoy!
Eating very low carb. Downing beef patties all over town, with cheese, no onion,no bun, no fries, unsweetened tea. This is tasty beef and should be tried. It has a charbroil flavor that is really good. Will be back.
This was first time here. It is a family mom and pop place. The food I got was delicious. The fries were made on the spot so they were hot and good. The burger I got was awesome. It was the jalapeno chili cheese burger. Every bit as messy as a sloppy joe and so dang good. It had long slices of fresh jalapeno. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly This is a place I will keep coming back to. I highly recommend it.
