Indian restaurants have constantly disappointed me ever since I have moved to Ottawa, Canada. I was desperately craving for a good vegetarian thali and was finally able to satisfy it at Suprabhat restaurant in Austin, Texas. And I must admit, it was the best vegetarian thali I had in a very long time. Everything was so perfectly cooked and fresh. Couldn't have asked for more. The ambience was good and the staffs were really friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant would definitely go back if I’m in Austin again.

Suprabhat has some lovely decor and a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating- really great for medium sized groups. The food is reasonably priced and comes in large portions (granted I did get a sampler, and that’s a lot of food). My only complaint is that the sweet items were too sweet (for my taste) and I prefer a crispier dosa, but everything else was amazing. The menu has a lot of really great variety and I appreciate how it’s been sectioned off in order to address different kinds of dietary restrictions. Service was great and our waitress checked on us at good increments and kept our water glasses full. I will definitely be coming back.
