Le Petite Marche

I had been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is nice, well decorated, and relaxed. I ordered the grits stacks which was SO good. The grits were seasoned so well. Everything was tasty. My server Byron was excellent and made sure that I was well taken care of. I can’t wait to dine here again. Highly recommend.

We visited Le Petit Marche after completing a nearby 5K. Just looking for a nice spot to get a bit to eat. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and they already had a line forming. We knew we were in for a treat! We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us in the back. The music was entirely too loud, but they adjusted it to something more suitable when we asked about it. The menu was easily "scannable" with a QR code on the table. Service was great. They checked in just the right amount of times. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was just perfect. The grits were creamy with the right amount of cheese. I was able to replace the bacon with chicken sausage. The shrimp could have been cooked about 30 seconds less, but it didn't ruin the dish. Oh... forgot to mention the beignets!bigness! They were buttery, flakey and delicious. While they didn't offer any flavored coffee, they did have a super bold Panamanian coffee (I believe that's where it was from). It was delicious, but very strong.

Food was great and our waitress Ruby was so sweet and attentive! As soon as we walked in everyone was so friendly. Food was fantastic highly recommend this place!

Our first time here and will be back!! Fantastic food, service and atmosphere.

This is an update to my original review posted previous to the switch in ownership. Atlanta Breakfast Club owners took over in 2021 and I had heard that there were multiple charges made to our beloved little cafe and I must agree. However all change is not bad or good sometimes it's just different. The most immediatly noticed change is the pricing structure and quantity of neighborhood favorites such as the Kirkwood Grit Stack. Prior to the change the bowl was huge and filled with grits and toppings. This new bowl is less than half the quantity of the original for nearly double the price. However what is lacking in quantity is definitely made up for in tremendous taste. Smooth well cooked grits, perfectly charred sausage and soft scrambled eggs equate to a tasty breakfast combination. Fortunately the French toast sandwich is still remaining on the menu. Yet another culinary delight although my only suggestion would be to toast the bread a little more as mine was quite soggy and lacked the crispness needed to consume it as a sandwich. Now on to the overall ambiance of the establishment. Not much has changed as many of the decorations that were on the wall several years ago remain although some of the personal touches are gone. The juice and tea station that were a favorite of ours is missing and the menu only has one juice the tangerine pictured and a lemonade for $7. Also noticeably missing is the southern sweet tea although if you need to have sweet tea you can order a hot tea and a glass of ice and make your own. Overall I am not disappointed with our visit. This positive review is definitely based not only on the quality of food but also the exemplary service provided by Zage. She took our order and delivered our meal in a timely manner and was very polite. Many things have changed and the restaurant now has more of a gourmet uppity flare then the community comfort that it had previously but that isn't a bad thing, just different. Breakfast for two people set us back about $50 so be prepared to spend a little more money than your typical breakfast place but it's certainly worth it.
