Arrived for an early dinner on January 17, 2020 (Had a two hour drive home afterwards.) It was a miserable night with freezing rain, snow, ice, etc. Pulled up to the canopy and the valet attendant was immediately there with an umbrella for my wife and right back to escort me in. We were the first customers of the evening, and were greeted warmly by the maitre'd and immediately seated. Water and bread were promptly served along with a wine list. Each of us had a great glass of wine while we contemplated the menu and specials of the day.
Starters were roasted cauliflower risotto for my wife and a cold white asparagus with leeks and herbs for me - Five stars for the apps.
Dinner was lobster and shrimp/prawns in mustard sauce for my wife, and I had one of the daily specials - osso buco. The veal was fantastic, even including a special bone marrow spoon to dig out the good stuff. Wife also liked her entree very much. Finally, dessert was bananas flambe for me and a special torte with salted caramel ice cream and a separate small piece of pineapple cake for her birthday.
Many of the items were flamed/cooked/finished at tableside. We were impressed and would recommend this place for any special occasion. I can't think of a single thing that could have been done better. We'll be back.
