Best pizza in Palermo - light crispy base with great olive oil taste. They sell it by weight which is handy depending how hungry you are.

We went to Palermo for the day and parked in Piazza Ungheria (great parking location for Palermo centre. They serve Pizza by weight and it's usually busy with local office workers. The pizza is one of the best we tried in Sicily but not typically Sicilian. The base is light and crispy and they offer a selection of 4/5 different toppings. I recommend picking 3 varieties which came to 7€. Then, once you're done with pizza, go next door for gelato. It's a lot cheaper than heading into the tourist streets.
