We ate here for our last night in Italy and were not disappointed. the food was really good, although be warned, we ordered a steak cooked to the chef's recommendation of medium to medium rare and it was still VERY rare, so be sure to ask if you want it cooked more. They were completely accommodating when we asked for it to be cooker further. No judgement at all. Wine was great and the views were amazing.

La Terazza is a truly amazing restaurant. One of the best meals I have had in italy. Staff were very friendly and the chef came out to explain the dishes which were all made with fresh local and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant ambiance was stunning with incredible views of the countryside. This is a MUST visit in Tuscany.

This place came highly recommended by a friend so drove 40 mins from Florence to get here. The grounds and the staff are lovely and the sunset (mostly hidden behind part of the hotel) is beautiful. The food was good but not as spectacular as I was told. Infact my pan fried cod was so salty I could barely finish it. The squid ink pasta was great but again on the salty side. The tiramisu was perfect though . Overall food was good but def would not make the trek for it from Florence again. There are better meals close by. Not sure if chef was having an off day but an average meal by Italian standards. The tiramisu and olive oil were incredible though. We bought a bottle of the oil and recommend you do if you come here.

La Terrazza at Villa Le Calvane featured the most delicious Italian cuisine, in all my years of travelling throughout various parts of Italy. Breakfast on the terrace included a tasty buffet with Italian cheeses, cold cuts, pastries, fresh baked Italian bread and much more! I also enjoyed warm dishes such as the delicious scrambled eggs, omelettes, pancakes and bacon! My lunches were spent on the beautiful terrace or at the poolside, with an amazing Tuscan view of the rolling green vineyards! The scrumptious pasta bolognese and the tasty club sandwich, with a mix of veggies, meats and eggs, were my two favourite dishes! I also experienced dinner on the terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside and vineyards, while enjoying the Tuscan sunset! For dinner, the trio that blew me away featured the bruschetta, pasta carbonara and various flavours of gelato (pistachio was my favourite)! Nothing can prepare your taste buds for this culinary adventure!
